The elder Petri hired an associate of Frank Lloyd Wright to develop a "Tiffany Love Knot bangle design" that would incorporate both stores while showcasing the business' wares. And he purchased the "third" storefront, which would eventually be used for the company's Tiffany 1837. The store expanded again in the 1960s, pushing the china department toward the rear and also into the unused portion of the third store, as business grew over the next 30 years.
