According to the criminal complaint: A Duluth police officer working overtime at Grandma's Sports Garden Links of London Globe Charm Aurich going down some stairs and witnessed Aurich accidentally kick his shoe off and have a difficult time putting it back on. A former University of Minnesota Duluth All-American football Links of London H Charm and team captain has pleaded guilty to obstructing the legal process after an altercation with police at Grandma's Sports Garden on Oct. 3. Robert "Robbie" Wayne Aurich, 23, did not have to appear in court to enter the plea to the misdemeanor charge. The plea petition was filed Monday by Assistant St. Louis County Attorney Heather Korpela. Korpela said Judge Eric Hylden took the plea under advisement until Aurich files Links of London Heart Charm written waiver for his court appearance. Korpela said isn't unusual for a defendant with no prior record to be able to enter a plea to a crime such as Aurich's in Links of London Horseshoe Charm same way. Neither Aurich, who is a criminal justice major at UMD, nor his South St. Paul attorney could be reached for comment Monday.
